Where we're at.

So here is another brief update:

Limaris was having extreme pain in her chest/neck/arm on Tues and we took her to the ER.  She was admitted and they think she has pneumonia (which is somewhat common after radiation apparently).  They were already scheduling her to come in for a biopsy on some other areas in her chest so it looks like they will just try to do that while she is there.  The plan as of now is for her to be there until Monday.

We have her kids and they are staying here while she is in the hospital.  We are praying that she will be home next week so she can go to Damian's kindergarten graduation on Thursday.

I had forgotten how every detail of our lives is different when the kids are here.  Don't get me wrong we love it and are happy to have the opportunity to help in this way!  It is just a different way of life and honestly very humbling to have to work step by step through each part of the day.

There is a hymn that I love to read.  I learned the lyrics before I ever learned the music and I thought I would share it today:

  1. He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
    He sendeth more strength as our labors increase;
    To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
    To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.
  2. When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
    When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
    When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
    Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
  3. Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision,
    Our God ever yearns His resources to share;
    Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing;
    The Father both thee and thy load will upbear.
  4. His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
    His power no boundary known unto men;
    For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
    He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.
